It is therefore important to be able to measure with the right tools, being aware of the conditions under which you are doing so, and to ensure that resizing will be possible before making your decision.

The ring sizer must be printed at actual size (= 100% scale).

- take the measurement when the sizer is positioned on the finger
- ensure that a ring of the selected size can pass easily over your knuckle.

Resizing is common in the world of jewelry and can be done by most jewelers. However, the operation involves cutting the piece of jewelry and then adding or removing the metal that makes up the ring, so it is preferable to have it done by the jeweler who made your ring and knows its subtleties.
