A loyal supporter of Héloïse & Abélard since the brand's launch in late 2019, Julie is 22 years old. Franco-German, she shares her eco-responsible lifestyle and her second-hand finds on her Instagram account @juliediemaus.

"When I started my studies, I consumed a lot of fast-fashion.

Little by little, I discovered resale sites, and increasingly bought second-hand items. Then, after watching some documentaries, it clicked!

I realized the environmental and social impact of our consumption, particularly with the exploitation of precious metals in certain regions of the world. I then started to completely avoid buying new items.

My next professional experience taught me even more about the different factors that could contribute to a more responsible and ethical consumer society.

Today in Paris, I strongly encourage my friends and family to turn to more ethical and sustainable consumption patterns."

"I've never owned a lot of jewelry, but as a child, I always saw my grandmother covered in necklaces and rings.

She gave me a few, one of which was reworked and became my engagement ring... and I intend to entrust the others to Héloïse.

I wear my wedding rings every day. I often wear earrings that were given to my mother when she was 11, as well as gold pendants brought back from vacations in Egypt.

I don't just love them for their look, but also because they have sentimental value and their own story.

I plan to build a true jewelry collection by customizing inherited pieces to my taste, giving them a new life so they finally come out of their box. It's a long-term project but one that's worth it: I'd be proud to one day pass on timeless pieces to my grandchildren!"
